It’s nearly that time of year again for us all to hang up our hockey sticks and rest our aching limbs after another enjoyable season of our favourite sport (well, until summer hockey calls of course!)
To celebrate the 2014/15 season, the Committee would like to cordially invite you to join them at the annual Presentation Dinner to be held in The Comet Room at Club DeHavilland on Friday 24th April. This is the same venue as last year (and where we have our after match teas) so for those who attended last year, we hope you agree that it is always a great night and definitely one not to be missed!
If you would like to attend, can you please fill in the attached entry form and send back to Lizzie Owen either in person, by post or by email (all details included on the form).
We look forward to seeing you all for a night of good food, awards, laughter and most importantly – dancing! (not compulsory by the way!!!)
The 2015 quiz is now only a month away and being held on Friday 20th February at the Fairway Tavern at Panshanger golf course.
Entrance is £5 per person with arrival from 7pm for a 7:30 pm start. Some chips will be provided for each table
If you are able to contribute a raffle prize it would be greatly appreciated.
Please reserve your table by emailing Alan Smith – margaret.smith5@talktalk.net and include provide contact details of the team leader in case of bad weather.
Not only is the quiz a lot of fun but helps to provide the club with valuable funds so please reserve your table asap !
Regards
The Committee

From 4:30pm on Saturday 13th December, we will have an area of the bar at Club DeHav (where we normally have teas) sectioned off for us.
There’s an opportunity to order food up until 6pm when the kitchen then closes. So if you’re planning to come later than that, we’d recommend eating before. This gives us the opportunity to all get together for a few drinks to celebrate the last game before Christmas.
We have then got an area booked at the Blacksmith Arms pub in St Albans (address below) from 9pm. If you would prefer to meet there then please do but please note it is over 21’s on Saturdays.
