Whilst we all are happy to have a bit of a moan every now and again about the sandwiches, floodlights not on early enough, or training methods, the harsh truth is that this Club is run on a volunteer basis. We all know that without the continued efforts of the committee and others the Club will cease to exist. The current committee is reasonably fresh but are not signed up for life. To this end, we have drawn up this document – with the help of Hockey England – to make it as transparent as possible when asking others to take over positions. Please read what the roles involve and, should you have the desire to ‘do your bit’ in the running of the Club, then speak to one of the current committee expressing your interest.
